The Garden Street Yoga Method

  • Garden Street Yoga is grounded in a practical and life affirming Yogic philosophy, which believes embodiment to be a gift and the body to be a perfect vehicle for devotion, transformation and service.
  • We teach alignment-based Yoga which includes held poses, core strengthening and skillful flow (vinyasa). We feel that this combined approach, of form and flow, offers a method of asana that stabilizes, strengthens and moves body, mind and heart.
  • All the Garden Street teachers are extensively trained in Anusara Yoga, And each teacher adds to this shared base, her unique background and training.
  • Our dedication to the spirit and practice of radical hospitality has helped to make Garden Street well known as a vibrant community of practice (kula). All the teachers are friendly and welcoming to newcomers and long-timers alike, making it easy for students to connect with them and with the “good company” of other students.
